Carnegie Endowment for International Peace Junior Fellowship Program

The Junior Fellows Program at the Carnegie Endowment is designed to provide a substantive work experience for students who have a serious career interest in the area of international affairs. Approximately 8-10 students will be hired to work at the Carnegie Endowment in Washington, DC on a full-time basis for a period of one year. National Defense Science and Engineering Fellowship (NDSEG)
Deadline for application: December 20, 2013

The NDSEG Fellowship is a highly competitive, portable fellowship that is awarded to US citizens and nationals who intend to pursue a doctoral degree in one of fifteen supported disciplines. NDSEG Fellowships last for three years and pay for full tuition and all mandatory fees, a monthly stipend, and up to $1000 a year in medical insurance. The Management Trainee Program is offered at their Miami corporate office to hire candidates for future management positions with the company. This 12-month program encourages the Management Trainee to develop additional skills, make new contacts and learn how Norwegian operates. Emmy is currently a senior in the College of Arts and Sciences, majoring in Political Science while minoring in Health Sector Management and Public Health. She is a South Florida native from Coral Springs, Fl, but loves Miami. Emmy served as a Commuter Senator in Student Government her junior year, and hopes to continue to push new initiatives for her fellow University of Miami commuter community. She plans to pursue her Masters in Public Administration and Public Health here at the University, and someday better the healthcare system through preventative care.
