FBI 2014 Honors Summer Internship Program
In 2014, outstanding undergraduate and graduate students will be selected to participate in the FBI Honors Internship Program. This paid internship offers students an exciting ‘insider’s view’ of FBI operations and provides professional experience that is unique, valuable, and marketable. Work for 10 weeks in field offices nationwide and in FBI Headquarters divisions located in Quantico, Virginia; Winchester, Virginia; Clarksburg, West Virginia; and in the Washington, DC metropolitan area, Obtain Top Secret Security Clearance, gain insight into the full range of FBI Careers, and participate in a variety of organizational challenges and investigative matters. Fulbright-MTVU Fellowship
Deadline for application: February 28, 2014
Up to four awards will be available to pursue projects abroad around an aspect of international contemporary or popular music as a cultural force for expression. Preference will be given to creative projects that are conveyed in a dynamic fashion and are accompanied by a feasible plan; along with the study of music, proposals will be considered in other music-related fields such as music and social activism, music in learning, music and the community, and musical performance. James Madison Graduate Fellowships
Deadline for application: March 1, 2014
Applicants are evaluated on their demonstrated commitment to a career teaching American history, American government, or social studies at the secondary school level. The fellowships are intended exclusively for graduate study leading to a master's degree. Additional information may be found here or by contacting Kefryn Reese.

Gilman International Scholarship for Study Abroad
Deadline for application: March 4, 2014
The Benjamin A. Gilman International Scholarship Program aims to diversify the kinds of students who study abroad and the countries and regions where they go. Over 2,300 scholarships of up to $5,000 will be awarded this academic year for U.S. citizen undergraduates to study abroad. The program is open to all U.S. citizen undergraduates, in good academic standing, receiving a Federal Pell Grant at the time of application or during the term of study abroad, amongst other criteria. Summer & Fall 2014 applications are now being accepted online and are due March 4, 2014. Tilman Military Scholarship
Deadline for application: March 6, 2014
The Mission of the Tillman Foundation is to invest in military veterans and their spouses through educational scholarships; building a diverse community of leaders committed to the service of others. Scholars are selected based on meeting a high level of excellence as demonstrated through essays and application questions, which tie together these factors: motivation for serving in the military, impact of service on life, and explanation of how degree will apply to accelerate career. Undergrad Fulbright Grants for Summer 2014 in the United Kingdom
Deadline for application: March 6, 2014
These summer programs provide the opportunity for US undergraduates to come to the UK on a three, four, or six week academic and cultural summer program. The Summer Institutes will cover the majority of participant costs, including round-trip airfare from the US to the UK, tuition and fees at the host university, accommodation and meals, social programs, and trips. Whitaker Fellowship for Biomedical Engineers
Deadline for application: March 11, 2014
This foundation provides undergraduate biomedical/bioengineers funding for a semester or one academic year to pursue coursework, research, or an internship, in an international setting that is approved by their home university, which is relevant to BME. Award amounts range from $7,500 for a semester program to $10,000 for an academic year program. The online application is now available, and students planning to apply should contact Kefryn Reese.


Goldman Sachs Women's Leadership Camp

The Diversity Campus Recruiting Team will be hosting a Goldman Sachs Women’s Leadership Camp (WLC) on Friday, April 4. The Women’s Leadership Camp is a one-day program that is targeted to current freshman and sophomore women of all majors. This program is designed to expose them to the financial services industry and help them become familiar with the firm’s business, history and culture. The program features divisional overviews, case studies, career workshops and networking with professionals at the firm. Application deadline is March 9.
