Jordan Adams
Assistant Director, On-Campus Recruiting

Jordan joined Toppel in November 2012, and he works with the dynamic Employer Relations team to conceptualize, lead, and manage career-related programs and events. Previously, Jordan served as the Manager of Civic Engagement at UM's Center for Latin American Studies, partnering with various civic organizations and overseeing a million dollar federal National Resource Center grant. Jordan holds a Master of Arts in Latin American Studies from the University of Miami, and a Bachelor of Science in Management Science from the University of California, San Diego. He also studied at La Universidad de Concepción, Chile and at La Universidad de Chile, Chile.

Peer Advisors
The Toppel Career Center is looking for an energetic, outgoing, and well-spoken undergraduate students to represent the Toppel Career Center as Peer Advisors for the Spring 2014 Semester. Peer Advisors play a critical role in representing Toppel across campus by serving as the liaison between UM students and the Toppel Career Center. S.E.A.R.C.H. is an opportunity designed for undergraduate students from underrepresented populations in healthcare, interested in exploring a career in scientific research and medicine. During the internship, students will complete a project that encompasses quality of care, education, and/or research. 2014 NASI Summer Internship Programs
Deadline for application: March 1, 2014
The National Academy of Social Insurance is now accepting applications for their paid internships for students studying for or interested in careers in social insurance policy. Their internship programs cover a wide array of policy areas including Health and Income Security Policy (Washington Internship), Aging and Long-term Care Policy (Somers Internship), Disability Policy (Eileen Sweeney Internship), and Non-profit Management (Nathan J. Stark Internship). The programs consist of a 12-week summer semester internship that usually spans May to August, depending on the student’s college schedule. Students receive a $3,500 honorarium for their internship experience and academic credit may be arranged through the intern’s college or university. International Students with valid student visas are encouraged to apply and can be placed with non-governmental organizations, if placement projects match their skills and interests.
