American Dental Education Association (ADEA) Dental School Virtual Fair
Monday, April 23-24 @ 12:00 – 8:00 p.m.
The 2013 ADEA Dental School Virtual Fair is a two-day live recruitment event for prospective students interested in a dental career and offers students the opportunity to connect with dental school representatives and participate in live presentations with no travel and no fees. The fair will host more than 35 dental schools in a live, online exhibit hall environment and will contain multiple presentations on topics about dental school admissions. Diversity in Your Career

In a globalized community, understanding diversity issues is vital to your career development. This panel will consist of leaders in their fields who will discuss their experiences and how to identify companies that offer a diverse environment. This program is essential before attending an interview for an internship, graduate program, or full-time job! Topics that will be covered include how to prepare for the interview, questions the interviewer will ask, and the most effective ways to follow-up.

FELLOWSHIPS & SCHOLARSHIPS2013 UM Service Fellowship Program
Application Deadline: Monday, April 15
UM is pleased to announce the 2013 Service Fellowship Program to support UM students interested in participating in service-oriented, summer internships that would otherwise be unpaid. Supported by a grant from the Atlantic Coast Conference International Academic Collaborative, the program provides stipends of up to $3000 to students who will participate in full-time, unpaid internships in government, education, the nonprofit sector, or the public interest/advocacy sector.
